Recently, Li Juqiang, Chairman and General Manager of JSFT, warmly received Li Guangshao, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Nanning Wuxiang New District (Nanning Section of Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone), and his delegation. Both sides conducted an in-depth discussion on expanding the scope of cooperation and exploring the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets. Zhang Qiang, Deputy General Manager of JSFT, and Zhang Zhidong, Assistant General Manager and General Manager of JOC Wuchan Co.,Ltd, also participated in the exchange meeting.
Li Juqiang expressed warm welcome to Li Guangshao and his delegation and briefly introduced the basic situation of SOHO, as well as the development history, production, and operation of JSFT. Li Juqiang stated that after the integration of Jiangsu's provincial trade enterprises in July 2023, JSFT strictly implemented the work deployment of SOHO, adhered to the core functional positioning of safeguarding scarce resources for the construction of Jiangsu's modern industrial system, and enhanced its core competitiveness. It demonstrated new responsibilities and actions in promoting the new practice of modernization in Jiangsu in Chinese way. Guangxi, as the forefront of China's market facing Vietnam and even ASEAN, possesses natural geographical advantages.JSFT will rely on the localization characteristics of its Vietnam office to facilitate economic and trade cooperation between Wuxiang New District and Vietnam.
Li Guangshao thanked JSFT for the warm reception and introduced the development history of Guangxi's foreign trade industry and the policies of Wuxiang New District for enterprises, talents, taxation, inspection and quarantine, etc. Li Guangshao said that Guangxi is the only province in China that is adjacent to ASEAN countries both by land and sea, serving as a key node and gateway for the western land-sea new corridor. ASEAN has remained Guangxi's largest trading partner for 24 consecutive years. Leveraging this advantage, Wuxiang New District is actively building an international corridor facing ASEAN, continuously injecting new momentum into promoting cooperation with ASEAN. It hopes to continuously deepen trade relations with JSFT and other enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region. Wuxiang New District will provide support to JSFT in areas such as taxation and market supervision to promote mutual development.
Heads of relevant departments in Wuxiang New District and heads of the Metal Minerals Department, Metal Overseas Department, and Trade Management Center of JSFT also participated in the exchange meeting.
