The high-profile 133rd China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) officially opened on April 15. This time is the first full resumption of offline exhibition since COVID-19 of three years, and also the first time for Jiangsu Provincial Foreign Trade Corporation (JSFT) appeared at the Canton Fair with our own brand of pot products.
On April 23, Mr. Li Ming, Vice president of the JOC Group, visited our booth for guidance. Mr. Chen Liang and Miss. Wu Jing from Light Textile Export Department introduced the development of our pot product business and export orders to Vice President Li Ming. Vice President Li Ming affirmed the determination of our company to take more measures to seize orders and opportunities. Li Ming pointed out that JSFT should seize the opportunity of transportation and trade integration with the Jiangsu International Rail Freight Express Co.,Ltd., take advantage of the freight logistics platform of the Jiangsu International Rail Freight Express Co.,Ltd., improve the level of transportation and trade integration, and achieve common development.
As an important channel and path for China's manufacturing exports, the Canton Fair has received attention and expectations from all parties. During the second phase of the Canton Fair exhibition, Light Textile Export Department from our company carefully prepared the exhibition samples and the production of publicity materials to expand overseas orders. During the Canton Fair, the Light Textile Export Department exhibited about 80 wok products, attracting buyers from the United States, France, South Korea, Russia, Iran, Greece, India, Hong Kong China, Taiwan China and many other countries and regions. In addition, a large number of cross-border e-commerce customers have detailed negotiations with our staff for cooker categories and online sales models. The company's long-term cooperation customers also came to the scene, and on the spot to determine the orders of about $3 million for the second quarter. Orders are expected to grow in the second half of the year. JSFT’s individual pot product brand achieved a breakthrough from "0 to 1".
During the exhibition, Sun Chengli, general manager of Jiangsu JOC Chemical Storage Co., Ltd., Liu Mingyi, general manager of the JOC Trade Management Office, and Ma Yikai, deputy director of the Trade Management Office, visited our booth. Canton Fair is a two-way exhibition. JSFT will continue to work hard, strive to develop, to promote the new form of JSFT and make contributions.
